Macuga and Liddle Named Lawyers of the Year

Michigan Lawyers Weekly has recognized 11 Michigan attorneys who stood out from the more than 30,000 practicing Michigan lawyers. Peter W. Macuga II and Steven D. Liddle are two of them.
They are recognized for "winning important cases, being involved in matters that raise challenging legal issues and otherwise furthering the profession's commitment to the rule of law and concept of justice."

Attorneys Steve Liddle and Peter Macuga comment in Detroit News article concerning Metro Detroit Sewer Flooding. The firm brought suits against more than a dozen cities for failing to pay for flooding damage.
"You can't call it an act of nature if it happens two, three, four times a year," Macuga said. "It has been settled law for 150 years that cities are responsible for their sewer systems."
